Temptation has one lesson it would teach, in all its forms, wherever it occurs. It would persuade the holy Son of God he is a body, born in what must die, unable to escape its frailty, and bound by what it orders him to feel. It sets the limit on what he can do, its power is the only strength he has; his grasp cannot exceed its tiny reach (t-31,VIII,1).
Constantly we are tempted to make choices that are not in alignment with our true self. Temptations which only has the purpose to keep us small, and to keep us in fear. Fear is always the driver behind these choices.
Every choice you make defines your reality. Your world is simply a reflection of the beliefs you have accepted as yours. Every choice confirms and recreates your beliefs, because every choice is either a confirmation of your beliefs or a set of new beliefs being born.
When you make your choices from a state of fear, a state of mind where you feel unsupported and abandoned by God, you make the choices that confirms this belief. You make choices that reflects your situation as unsupported and not worthy of love. This becomes your reality, because this is what your choices ask for, and so it will be. Your choices defines your reality because it defines what you believe.
Choose once again if you would take your place among the saviors of the world, or would remain in hell, and hold your brothers there (t-31,VIII,1)
You make this choice whenever you are tempted to choose with fear. So whenever you make a choice and do not feel excited, or at least happy about it, stop and choose again. Say no to the feeling of littleness, say no to the feeling of lack, say no to the feeling of fear, and say yes to the power of Christ. Then you step back in trust that you are supported and loved.
Simply by never using weakness to direct your actions, you have given it no power. And the light of Christ in you is given charge of everything you do (t-31,VIII,1).
Be fearless in your choices, and you will see the power of Christ in your world.
